Abstract
Islamic mutual funds provide opportunity to small investors, who do not have access to capital market, to participate in the economic development of the country. It is simply a mechanism for diverting extra funds available with the public to the Islamic capital market . This chapter focused main feature of the Islamic mutual fund that allows diversification of portfolio for the small investors who may not be able to do so due to lack of financial knowledge.
