Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma

Abstract

Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness; however, acute angle-closure glaucoma accounts for only a small percentage of these cases. Acute angle-closure glaucoma is an ocular emergency, as it can result in permanent vision loss and blindness. In order to preserve vision, an adept response from the clinician is imperative.
