Abstract

This research focuses on integral security, being a subject of global interest that covers all the contexts and that depends mainly on two elements, as is the state and the society, for that reason, one investigates the current situation of integral security of the artisanal fishermen of the fishing ports of the canton of Salinas. For this study, a quantitative approach and descriptive research was used, concluding the existence of a low integral security that the artisanal fishermen have, specifically the human and social insecurity due to the piracy and the lack of social security originated by the lack of policies and support from state and local public institutions, and in the absence of ethical values and behaviors of society.
