Abstract

Spinal stenosis typically occurs in the cervical or lumbar spine of adult patients. Patients commonly present with claudication, so it is important to rule out other causes of claudication in their evaluation (vascular). A thorough understanding of the pathologic structures and neuroanatomy helps guide surgical decision-making.
