Abstract

This chapter offers a much-needed analysis of student experience at international branch campuses as portrayed on social media and whether the depicted experience reflects student development, the important output of higher education. This chapter aligns the social media postings of the seven primary aspects that present the determinants of students’ perceptions of quality and experience of study at international branch campuses and explores their implications on student development. The important aspect of the chapter is the focus on diverse international branch campuses, hence providing a broad-based study. The analysis provides international branch campuses with an opportunity to evaluate their social media postings against the student experience criteria.
