Abstract

The injection procedures for the symphysis pubis, intra- and peri-articular pathologies are reviewed.

The technical principles of intra-articular symphysis pubis and localised soft tissue adductor injection for therapeutic reasons are discussed. Indications, anatomy, techniques (fluoroscopic and ultrasound), approach, choice of equipment, quantity of pharmaceuticals and appropriate aftercare as well as possible procedure-related symptoms are discussed.
