Abstract
In this chapter we will review the injection procedures performed in the spine including RF denervation technique for facet joints. We will discuss technical principles for the various types of spine injections, used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. We will describe indications, anatomy, proper techniques and approach, choice of equipment, quantity of pharmaceuticals, and appropriate aftercare as well as possible procedure-related symptoms and their treatment. In addition we will review in details the diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for intervertebral disc herniation.
