Chandler’s Modified Technique for Simple Correction of Inverted Nipple Deformities

Abstract

Retraction is a slit-like area pulled inward, whereas inversion applies to cases in which the entire nipple is pulled inward, occasionally, far enough to lie below the surface of the breast; the authors discuss embryologic development and anatomy of the nipple-areolar complex.
