Abstract
Enzymatic methods are used widely in the analysis of glycoprotein glycan sequence because of their ability to determine, in many cases unambiguously, full and accurate sequence information (1–3). Moreover, when coupled with suitable labelling and detection techniques, these methods are applicable to relatively small amounts (∼10 pmol per digestion) of sample, where many other techniques cannot reliably be used.
