Abstract

Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) issues are a common yet frequently underreported problem in adolescents and adults with cystic fibrosis (CF). As the CF population continues to experience overall health gains in lung function, nutrition, and life expectancy, it is likely that SRH will become a more prevalent issue, and more research will be needed to better understand the needs of the CF population. The focus of this review is to provide an overview of the current state of the literature regarding SRH in the CF population.
