Abstract
Perennial wetland herb overwintering as sessile green leaf rosette. Stem erect to ascendent, with patent glandular and appressed non-glandular hairs, 20–100 cm high. Leaves opposite, oblong-lanceolate, toothed. Flowers in a loose terminal raceme, petals pinkishpurple, stigma clavate. Fruit is a linear capsule containing tiny seeds with long apical hairs.
