Abstract

Problem statement: The correct choice of the orbit on which the spacecraft is placed, largely determines its functionality in the distant operation. The article deals with the issues related to the choice of orbits of satellites that form the mirror system of the radio telescope. Purpose: Approaches to solving the problem of the choice of the satellite orbit in the formation adaptive mirror system of space radio telescope antenna. Results: The factors influencing the motion of the artificial earth satellite are analyzed. The suitability of various orbits of artificial earth satellites for the formation of a mirror system of a space radio telescope is evaluated. Practical significance: Recommendations on the choice of the orbit for artificial earth satellites used to form an adaptive mirror system of the space radio telescope antenna are given.
