Abstract
Studying the performance of the microbial fuel cell using waste water as a substrate. Study was carried out in double chamber microbial fuel cell with single and multiple salt bridge as Photon exchanger and also the performance for multiple electrodes instead of single electrode of same volume was studied. It has been identified that the double chambered reactor with multiple electrode and multiple salt bridge microbial fuel cell performance were observed whose performance is better than other fuel cell. The results shows that the microbial fuel cell can effectively used in waste water treatment plant for the generation of power.
