Abstract
The clinical relevance of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of uterine factors and its role in the infertility workup is still the topic of discussion in the scientific community.
Thanks to its potential capability to “see and treat” many of the uterine pathologies and to improve reproductive outcomes and reduce time to pregnancy, its importance has been reconsidered in the evaluation of infertile couples.
The objective of this chapter is to highlight the efficacy of diagnostic and/or operative hysteroscopy in improving the pregnancy outcome of infertile women, through diagnosis and treatment of some uterine anomalies.
