Abstract

This article expounds the original echo model of SAR and focus on the use of MATLAB software to the point target imaging simulation from the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) of the transmitted waveform, which directly reflects the principle of the R-D algorithm. Finally, through the simulation analysis, we summarize the factors that influence the simulation results in SAR imaging.
