Abstract
The paper refers to two components of competencies such as skills and knowledge. Its investigation is directed towards showing lean value and its relation to human. Particularly, it explores lean and ergonomics in reference to the required knowledge and practice which enhance these initiatives as they are highly inter-related. For this aim, an integrating model of lean and ergonomics competencies is shown. It presents these initiatives in different stages of their acquisition.
