Abstract
The theory of paramagnetic relaxation of the electron spins of paramagnetic particles in solutions, caused by random modulation of the spin-spin dipole-dipole interaction by the mutual diffusion of particles, is presented. The theory of this process is well known in the literature. But it unreasonably uses the so-called secular approximation. As a result, the well-known theory does not take into account the transfer of spin coherence between spins with different resonant frequencies. Here are presented kinetic equations that take into account correctly the transfer of spin coherence caused by the dipole – dipole interaction.
