Abstract

After visiting twelve senior cohousing communities, the major questions we had as authors were—What did we learn? While there were a number of important findings, which evolved into the previous chapters of this book, there were three overarching themes that came through. First, people who move into Senior Cohousing desire connection beyond what is found in typical neighborhoods and in many other types of senior housing communities.
