Abstract
This chapter describes orchiopexy as performed by the following surgical approaches: open techniques as well as laparoscopic procedures. We introduce the topic by outlining the indications, risks, alternatives, essential steps, needed equipment, and variations in technique for the procedure(s) in question. This is followed by template operative dictations, which provide the reader with sample operative reports, such as is found in a patient chart or electronic medical record.
