Abstract

Assumptions associated with the concept of a crisis and crisis management reveal the fact that managing crises is broader than managing risks. Emotions count. The resilience style of crisis managers provides inferences for redefining the phases of crisis management: prevention, de-escalation, intervention, and recovery.
