Abstract

As the advent of big data era, the structure of modern city is becoming bigger and more sophisticated. Many of us are likely to lose their way for fail to seek out the specific direction of their destination or waste time because they can’t distinguish signage at once. So, the paper analyzes an experiment which about proportional relationship of information in the design of signage layout of Way-finding Signage System and attempts to find out the relationship of words, icons and marks in the design of signage layout and then offers further reference for the signage design. Moreover, the study is mainly assisted to figure out the influence of information distribution on sign recognition in signs design.
