Abstract

This chapter examines the obstacles that hinder the advancement of Cuba-U.S. relations by examining the challenges faced both in the immediate post-17D period and under Trump, and the limits to the evolving Cuba-U.S. relationship. This chapter discusses the expectations unmet and the difficulties surrounding the implementation of the measures announced by the United States, particularly in the economic sphere.
