Abstract

The purpose of the present paper is to give an overview of the typical design analysis tasks referring to engine/powertrain dynamics in the concept phase of calculation project, and to show their sequence and interconnection within a single simulation workflow.

The role and place of the concept-phase simulation together with the high-end one within a calculation project is outlined and their synergy is discussed.
