Abstract

In this paper the description of special educational experiment carried in Bauman Moscow State Technical University is given. The attempt to develop demo application for modeling of 3D model of involute gear manufacturing was taken by students of Institute of Modern Educational Technologies and Robotics and Complex Automation department. While development of the application advantages of 3D game development kits were used to improve both understanding of applied mechanics, CAM-processes and 3D programming.
