Abstract
Pediatric psoriasis has more than doubled since the 1970s and can have profound impacts on both a child’s physical and psychological health. Prior to initiating treatment, assessment of severity is important as many pediatric patients with less than 10% body surface area can be treated with topical medications, avoiding unnecessary risks for systemic therapy. This is a case of a 13-year-old female that presented with red, scaly rash for several years. She and her mother opted for UV-B phototherapy for treatment of her pediatric psoriasis.
