Abstract
This chapter recounts the personal journey of a professor, who, with no computer background, became an avid and enthusiastic online teacher. She realized that in her teaching areas of law and criminal justice, it was essential that her students be on the cutting edge of computer technology and she knew that she had to be the role model for them. She attributes her success to the mentorship of senior colleagues on the faculty committee on instructional technology and the staff of the college who provided invaluable expertise and support.
