Abstract
In the majority of patients with cerebral palsy, there is an involvement in hand functions, which vary according to the type of disease and extent of neurological involvement. Especially, deformities and postural disorders due to spasticity are important causes of deficiency. Problems associated with accompanying sensory and visual functions make the use of the hand even more difficult and create deficiency in daily life activities. Early recognition of upper limb problems and detailed functional assessments in these patients are crucial in terms of establishing a correct and effective rehabilitation program.
