Abstract
Minimally invasive colorectal surgery continues to evolve with new technologies enabling platforms. In particular, advances in robotic surgery have led to renewed interest in natural orifice-assisted surgery with intracorporeal anastomosis (ICA) and transrectal extraction of specimen.
