Abstract
The analysis of collective cooperation of various stakeholder groups in terms of its effectiveness in Information and Communication Technologies projects in Poland was the subject of surveys. In addition to unclear requirements, inefficiencies in communication between project stakeholders were identified as the main causes of problems in project implementation. The impact of cooperation of different stakeholder groups: project team, management of the project implementation unit, suppliers and end users of the final product on the success/failure of the project was examined. The impact of stakeholder identification before the start of the project on the chances of success or failure of the project was also analysed. The results of the research are recommendations for improving the communication management model in which the process of stakeholder identification, cooperation with contractors, suppliers, end users of innovative services or products is an important factor in gaining knowledge necessary for the success of project in Poland.
