Abstract

Posterior glenohumeral instability has become more frequently recognized recently, but diagnosis remains challenging, owing to its variety of clinical presentations with the majority presenting with pain rather than instability. For the management of posterior instability without bone loss, arthroscopic posterior stabilization has been shown to be effective to address capsulolabral injury and posterior humeral avulsion of the glenohumeral ligament.
