Abstract

In the theory of elliptic and parabolic boundary value problems it is of fundamental importance to understand well the behavior of regular distributions on lower-dimensional manifolds. Such ʻtrace theorems’ form the heart of this chapter which consists of two sections. The first one is concerned with various properties of (higher order) traces.
