Abstract

The article describes combinatorial linguodidactics – a direction in the foreign languages teaching methodology that emerged due to the demand of modern society and focused on the formation and development of collocation and communicative competence of the secondary linguistic personality. The purpose of the article is to define the advantages of this direction within modern society as well as to give it a scientific substantiation: to identify the objectives, sections, means and methods of teaching. Combinatorial linguodidactics is a scientific discipline based on the theory of cognitive, psychological, linguistic and methodological aspects.

Current conditions of society development set new requirements to linguistic education. Today, one can observe rapid changes in the educational system, the problems that primarily relate to intercultural communication, the integration of subject areas of knowledge, the development of the ability to speak in a foreign language, and the acquisition of skills in the field of information and communication technologies. Absence of the corresponding linguistic environment gives an important role to the dictionaries of collocations, development of new information technologies, including electronic dictionaries and electronic text corpora. All these confirm the urgency of studying foreign languages when the language is the main carrier of information, and, accordingly, the demand for new teaching methods and techniques.
