Abstract

This paper aims at enhancing Ad hoc On-demand Multi path Distance Vector Routing (AOMDV) using multicriteria analysis approach that considers different criteria. It is based on sorting the different available paths in order to select the most efficient one and constructing effective disjoint paths. Our objective is enhancing routing stability using an efficient multicriteria method called Electre Tri. The integration of this method guaranties routing data successfully and reducing the required delay for data transmission. Our new approach is evaluated under the simulator NS2 [1] considering various metrics. Moreover, the paper details the simulation process and then compares our proposed protocol and different well known protocols.
