Abstract

Essential to the quality of your image, the condenser can often be a source of confusion for the new microscoper. Mastering how to correctly adjust the condenser and diaphragm is not difficult. They allow you to optimise contrast and light levels, which will greatly improve the quality of your image.

In this chapter, we will look at the anatomy and functionality of the condenser and diaphragm separately and how to make sure they are correctly positioned.

A great discovery is a fact whose appearance in science gives rise to shining ideas, whose light dispels many obscurities and shows us new paths
