Abstract

Dental professionals have an important role in terms of educating common people and creating awareness regarding the drawbacks and risks of maintaining poor oral health. There should be a separate treatment chart for each patient, including the ongoing medicine for any other illness of the particular patient. Some of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and aspirin cause bleeding with dental treatment. Various factors are to be taken into consideration before dental surgery as the herbs altering the liver function have been reported to alter the metabolism of drugs used in dentistry.
