Abstract
What are the major obstacles to casting a vote? What steps have government officials taken to enable eligible voters to show up and submit a vote that counts, particularly when certain populations such as the disabled and military/overseas voters face challenges that can impede their ability to show up and/or to submit a vote? In this chapter details various aspects of polling place space and non-polling place voting that factor into voter access and overall election integrity for all voters, including special populations. Spatial and location considerations must be weighed to ensure that local election officials (LEOs) are conforming to legal requirements and ease of voter use. These considerations will significantly impact the overall voter experience, including wait times and the ability to cast a vote.
