Abstract
After the downsizing of the EFTA pillar from five to three States, there were barely any cases. That did not seem to bother my colleagues who were in their mid and late sixties. But I was 48 years old and was champing at the bit to make something of the Court, to develop a case law that would not only be relevant for the EFTA pillar, but also have an impact on the EU pillar and thereby on the EEA as a whole.
