Abstract
In order to learn how to lead groups, we need opportunities to practise participating in and running groups, as well as time to reflect on the process. Our training continues after we have qualified as therapists — it is our professional responsibility to keep abreast of new research and techniques in order to ensure good standards of practice. We never stop learning, no matter what level of experience we reach, and we all need continued support and guidance in helping us to develop our skills.
