Abstract
Urolithiasis is a multifactorial disease. To obtain knowledge regarding the etiology, pathogenesis, and therapy for urolithiasis, a variety of data has to be recorded and compared. Thus, it is obvious to use electronic data processing in order to establish a urolithiasis record. Since 1984, our Department has had a documentation system to record bladder cancer patients. It is called UROPAD and is described in the following report as is the base of the urolithiasis record (1, 2).
