Abstract

Psychiatric emergencies in oncology patients are basically no different from psychiatric emergencies in other medical settings. While some types of emergencies may be more common in oncology, expertise gained in handling psychiatric emergencies in any medical setting will be pertinent to handling such emergencies in oncology.
