Abstract
The film opens with a highly stylized montage of the Times Square area. Beginning at dawn and continuing well into the night, we examine the streets, porn shops, commercial billboards and businesses which comprise the heart of New York’s pornography industry. As the day progresses, the growing visual and aural tensions of the area are traced through the flashing lights, the neon glare, the blare of disco, the building traffic and the emergent activity of the street hustlers and evangelists. The pre-dawn quiescence gives way to the day’s hustle and business activity which, by evening, takes on an air of danger, power and excitement.
