Abstract
In late June 1978 I received a letter from Dr. Carlos E. Valerio, a professor in the Biology Department at the University of Costa Rica. Dr. Valerio was seeking advice about the protection of shipwrecks located in a national park off Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast.
