Abstract

The English activist and poet John Milton once wrote, “The mind is its own place, and in itself, can make a Heav’n of Hell, a Hell of Heav’n.” He composed these words in his epic poem Paradise Lost. Through his writings, Milton gave us one of the finest observations about human perception, as well as UX: what we experience is what we perceive.
