Abstract
Where load balancing provides local redundancy and high availability, multisite DirectAccess provides geographic redundancy and failover for DirectAccess clients across multiple locations. If an outage occurs that affects all DirectAccess servers in one location—for example, a datacenter’s connection to the Internet fails—DirectAccess clients will still be able to connect to an entry point in another location.
