Abstract
In Chapters 1 and 6, we mentioned that a variety of standards, open source projects, and consortia were present in influencing the direction of Internet of Things (IoT) components at the time this book was first published. In this appendix, we list some of the entities that you are likely to encounter as you evaluate options in deploying IoT projects. This list is not complete, and we expect that it will continue to grow rapidly and change over time.
