Abstract

After you have imported your dataset, it is likely that you will need to make some changes before beginning any statistical analysis. You may require some new variables for your analysis. There may also be some irrelevant data that needs to be removed. Additionally, you may want to ensure that variables and categories are correctly named so that they look more presentable on any statistical output that you create. This chapter explains how you can make these types of changes to a dataset.
