Abstract
The International Conference of the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC) is an annual event which has been held in Santiago, Chile, until 1992, and starting this year in other cities, being La Serena chosen for 1993. We think that many regional universities in Chile have reached a level of maturity, and the International Conference is a nice opportunity to motivate their students and professors. We hope to continue with other regional universities on the years to come.
