Summary

The problem of brain gliomas therapy is one of the most complex parts of neurobiology and medicine. The purpose of this study was to investigate the permeability of BTB in patients with brain hemispheric gliomas. We investigated the Blood Tumor Barrier (BTB) permeability in brain gliomas of patients in dynamic conditions by combined paraclinical methods: CT, MRI, gammaencephalography (GE), Felgenhauer’s coefficient (FC). Our data suggested that selective permeability of BTB in brain gliomas was invariable even with rIL-2 therapy. We considered that peritumoral oedema (PTE) consists of a serous liquid with a minimal albumin content. The efficiency of immunotherapy is inversely proportional to presence, size and spreading of PTE on CT-MRI.
