Abstract

In 1968, Baer, Wolf and Risley published “Some Current Dimensions of Applied Behavior Analyses.” This paper provided a framework for researchers and practitioners who propagated that the Skinnerian model for behavior change should be applied in order to solve problems of social importance. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) became a discipline for behaviorists working in fields as academic and vocational training, treatment of the developmental, disabled, treatment of behavioral problems but also in the fields of organizational management, traffic safety and environmental protection. Crime and delinquency have always been a major target of ABA. ABA principles have been the basis for the development of many intervention programs for adult and juvenile offenders.
