Abstract
A last survey of the recent literature helps both to confirm the basic tenets of the book and to nuance some of them. This chapter does not attempt to recapitulate or integrate in full previous material. It deals with the issues of postmodernism, adult development, culture, philosophy, and therapy, and describes some personal contributions.
